UPDATE: Still Available.
(12/19/2018) Looks good. Seller notes it isn’t quite a daily driver.

I like those side pipes for the exhaust, very classy and popular on pickup trucks in the 1960’s. JC Whitney catalog sold them at a great price.
This was up in August for $14,500. I emailed the seller at the time and got the following info:
”
It is the narrow track CJ-5 chassis underneath with wide wheels and tires. I didn’t get the originals…. The cab corners were replaced/welded by the previous owner. The paint job isn’t the greatest, and I think the painter/bodyman was shoddy at best and took the elderly PO for a ride, but that’s my opinion and I’ll leave it right there. Other than that, it drives well (for what it is) but occasionally pops out of second gear. It needs a few small things attended to, like a brake bleed/fluid refresh, fuel lines checked for tightness, and a general maintainance and safety lookover. If I were to keep it, I’d change the fluids in all the gearboxes, engine, radiator, and brakes. It’ll be ready for another 50 years. It needs a lead substitute as it has original valve seats.
“
Thanks for sharing that info Zach!
I drover over to Quincy to buy this truck. It had a lot of work done to it and it was done poorly. It did run and drive but like said above popped out of second gear. Not an expensive fix but it still needs to be done. He offered to sell for $8k but I still thought it was too much for what needed to be done. Just my .02. I just picked up a FC-170 in better shape for $1600 but needs a motor. The guys was nice and honest about it, he just had too much into it.
Thanks for the note Tom. Sounds like the seller is in a tough situation.
