    Not sure if it was mentioned, but the price dropped because it needs a new transmission (or at least a rebuild of the current one).

    Happycoop is correct, I dropped the price because the transmission needs repair.

    From the ad:
    The transmission appears to have a broken shear pin because power is not transmitted to the wheels. There is also a slow and steady leak from the top right-side of the transmission case.

    Estimated cost for a rebuilt Muncie SM420 from top quality rebuilder Novak Conversions is $1,520-$1,970.

    Estimated cost from a national chain auto parts store is $1,350. Estimated cost from a local rebuilder is $1,200.

    The price is negotiable.
