UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7400.
(11/14/2018) Might make a good project.
“1948 Willys Pickup – Extended cab project. The engine is installed but hasn’t been wired. It does not run and will need to be trailered home. Open Montana title.
1948 Willys Pickup cab with panels from a Willys wagon grafted on to create an extended cab
Suburban frame
4 wheel disc brakes
Dana 60 front axle with G2 Hubs, no locker, gear ratio not known
14 Bolt rear axle, no locker, gear ratio not known
GM LS 6.0 engine with aluminum heads and iron block. Includes wiring harness and computer
5 speed manual
transfer case, no drive shafts”
Looks like lots of time and money in this build. That cab looks great and the extra room would be a welcome addition. I’d keep the extra cab but restore it back to as stock-condition as I could to make it look factory.
This is cool, but I wonder how that steering box location is going to work.
IS this still for sale?
Hi Rob,
It looks like this truck has sold. I’ve updated the post.
