OK, I’m going to try my luck here and see if I’ve learnt anythang over the past two and a half years. The body, a repop or an MB, I say a repop MB. Appears to have an MB tool box lid on top back of the left wheel well. Appears to have an MB instrument panel with the lights. I don’t know about the glovebox? The gas filler looks a little to vertical and large, maybe from a Wagon since an MB didn’t have them and I believe the repop MB didn’t either? There is body damage on the rear and appears to have some Bondo. No water drains on the sides. Windshield frame braces added. And Dave I can’t believe you didn’t mention those nice rims? I think not very authentic in many ways. Nice 2A but I feel it’s priced too high. Someone who knows more than this 2A novice let me know how I did. Thanks.

This appears to have GPW tool box lids on top of the back fenders, and WWII style glove box. Replacement body, maybe? Or WWII tub (including hood)? Of course I like the hurricane rims too 🙂

Yep, Joe knows those GPW lids (MBs are completely flat Barry). I’d guess it’s probably a GPW body with tool indents that have been filled in or patched. No water drains holes on the side was standard for MB, GPW and M-38 bodies.

Barry, you might be right about that inlet coming from a wagon. It does look a little large and looks to be a custom installation.

I didn’t mention the rims because I was tired last night!
