UPDATE: Price dropped to $16,000.
Nice looking wagon, but it is more like a 1960 wagon.

Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Familiar wagon, it’s been listed before, about a year and a half two years ago, also with a New Jersey location.
Serial number indicates it is probably an early 1962, 4cyl, 2WD Maverick, my list shows only through 1961 and the 61 serial numbers for that model end with 16422.
Colin, Thanks for the background information, confirms what I thought. It could be a typo, but I’m always amazed that sellers don’t know what they are selling. All in all, it is a nice wagon although somewhat priced too high.
Been for sale for a long time, price keeps going up, you would think the price would go down to attract buyers. I just don’t understand today’s marketing strategy.
I don’t understand the strategy either. Now, there are some interesting Harvard business cases that discuss the importance to pricing in terms of perception of quality. In those cases, a rise in price resulted in increased sales. However, those were new items in new markets. This jeep is a whole other can of beans.
