Was a former high school project. Looks solid. The floors have some liner.

“This jeep was my project in high school about 5 years ago. It’s been kept in the garage since then. Starts and runs like a champ, the engine (original 4 cylinder L-head) was rebuilt just before I got it, so very low hours. We had the transmission rebuilt, shifts like the day it was built. Body and paint (’46 Harvest Tan scheme even though this is a ’47 by serial number) is in excellent condition, interior protected with color matched bed liner. Hat channels are like new, no rust.
Deviations/Missing Pieces – No windshield wipers, and steering box and column are taken from a CJ-5. As a result it tracks straight as an arrow, not a hint of “Willys Wobble”. 12 V electric system with alternator. Has aftermarket turn signals, rear view mirror, and seat belts. Tires are 17’s, all in good shape, including the spare.
This thing is in show condition, but it’s also derivable, within its inherent constraints. Top speed is about 40-45 mph, though that’s pushing it. But it starts and runs like a top, drives extremely well considering its over 70 years old. Perfect car for afternoon drives and trips to the car show.
The roll cage pictured has been cut down to fit below the CJ-2a windshield, not something you see all that often.
I’m asking $14,000, but if you’re really interested call and make an offer. I’m a college student, so if I don’t answer please leave a message with your name and number and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.”
