Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

didn’t Hobart make industrial dishwashers ?? — and meat slicers ?? — I used to work in a kitchen many years ago — my father was a professional chef , ex-navy cook who was also at PEARL HARBOR 12/8/41 and I seem to remember the name HOBART ??? — this was a college deep in the mountains — one day one of the food service owners walked in with a guest — it was HOWARD KAYLAN of the TURTLES !!!! — I was washing dishes , pots and pans and had long JESUS hair 1/2 way down my back , 1966 ?? 67 ?? — summer o love ?? — anyways , I got to shake his hand and I really didn’t recognize him — MR KAYLAN was there to invest some of his STAR MONEY — the TURTLES were sort of a bubble-gum-pop-LA kinda band — and I was in NOR-CAL so , I really didn’t recognize him ?? — MR KAYLAN at that period in time had short BEATLE style hair , but a few years later , he had LONG AND LUXURIOUS JESUS HAIR !!! — I like to think that I influenced MR KAYLAN ?? — but if you look at his body of work , he hooked up with FRANK ZAPPA in the late 1960’s !! — so theres a REAL BAD INFLUENCE !!! — also FRANK ZAPPA and the MOTHERS OF INVENTION made a movie late 60’s early 70’s ?? — called 200 MOTELS — and I think RINGO STARR or someone else played a LONG HAIRED DISHWASHER ??— I want my ROYALTIES !!! — HOWARD ??? R U THERE ???
I wondered about the Hobart name as well. It turns out it is the same name, but different company.
