I can’t remember where I found these photos of an unusual house-like top on a MB/GPW.

Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

See? Tiny houses are NOT a “new thing”.
Am I dating myself when I say this Jeep with the house built on it reminds me of Humphrey and the Humphrey Mobile from the Joe Palooka comics back in the 1950s? I always wondered how Humphrey squeezed himself into that tiny house. Does anyone else remember those comics from way back then?
Geez, I sure hope so!
Matt: True that! Tiny houses used to be the norm.
Colin: Spelling fixed. Since I had to look up who Humphrey was, I guess that does date you? lol 🙂 https://www.google.com/search?q=humphrey+mobile&num=100&client=safari&rls=en&biw=1364&bih=812&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj9wemF87DdAhU-FjQIHasICdQQ_AUIECgD
looks to be a small house with a jeep built under it ?? — joe palooka ? — bazooka chewing gum ??? — wont those composition shingles blow off at speed ??
Robert,
“wont those composition shingles blow off at speed ??” What speed…it’s a Willys! Ha!
When his wife sent him to the dog house, he brought his Willys with him.
My house has been faster than 45 mph. Oh wait… that is just a wind storm.
I guess that does date me Dave. I think I have about 20+ years on you!
I would get a military jeep trailer and build an outhouse on it , tow it behind ..
