UPDATE: UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4000.
Mike noted that this might have been used by the military. I’ve added a pic of the unusual dash stickers.
Appears worth a look. The windshield has some excess lean to it.
“Runs good; lots of fun. Was used by family and friends for hunting. Perfect for mountain or desert retreat. Needs some TLC”
This is a 1964 Military Cj3b with government data plate removed. Has big potential!
The windshield lean is why you don’t grab onto it when entering or exiting the vehicle.
It has a Hydrovac brake assist, rare, and also a hydraulic pump with a “cooler” for maybe a “plow or other hydraulic device” up front since it appears lines are there. That “lean” is pretty significant and even and would have taken some kind of major “pull” to do that. I zoomed in and it appears that there may be two weld areas on the forward mount extensions, and it sure did slacken the top. It seems like a solid 3B.
Looks like the same model of assist that was on Patterson. I looked for a rebuild kit for it as I have some worn grommets, but haven’t had any luck finding one yet.
The two dash stickers on the driver’s side are unusual and might suggest this was used by the military as Mike suggests. A gov dash plate would help confirm this.
the only thing rarer would be a stock cj-3b with a factory 225 v-6 — I hear stories about them sometimes — just like bigfoot , you hear stories , though few have seen the beast itself — I have seen bigfoot , 1985 , eel river , nor cal , confirmed sighting — near the dyerville flat — but I have yet to see the crypto-cj-3b v-6 …
Please call 951-474-6694 I would like to make an offer…
