UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $11,500.
Travis shared this one. Has a replacement tailgate.
“Restored 1947 driven very little since resto. New interior, new Best-top. Condition is original and speaks for itself. I do not need help selling this vehicle-pls. do not ask. Texts will be returned, but very slowly.”
Looks like replacement windshield and hood since no WILLYS is embossed on both of them. The body tub looks repop to me also. No rear corner bow brackets, trailer socket hole cover and if one looks close enough, there are no brackets for the front bow welded to the sides panels behind both driver and passenger seat.
Ya, the body looks repop, but how did this get this far without a mention of the capstan? Is it not “correct”?
Yes, there were Capstan’s marketed for the CJ-2A, but I can’t tell if this was an original one, one designed for the MB/GPW, or a reproduction one.
