UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.
Serial number is supposed to be #10665.
“Willy’s Overland CJ2A 1945. Serial number 10665 The good: Rare model only 1824 were produced. All serial number plates are intact. Rare three speed column shift. Drive train all intact. All gauges are intact. Tailgate is in good shape. Comes with metal cab. The bad: Frame is completely gone. Tub has been covered with sheet metal and might be salvageable. Windshield is rotted. No paperwork except bill of sale from the last owner. It was last registered in 1985 in RI”
Three speed column shift, cool, not many left in tact. I remember when I was young and life was simple, one Saturday morning while waiting for a haircut, I spotted a CJ2A across the street. This was the 1950’s, the Jeep had a column shift along with the stick floor shift. As a child, I couldn’t figure it out, that the transmission was replaced and the column shift was let in place non-functional. That was the first time I had ever seen a column shift CJ2A.
Just to add to my long winded commentary, I always liked that style 1/2 top with the plow lights mounted on the roof top, very classic looking, brings back memories.
