“Here you have a 1943 Ford GPW. Very easy restoration finish have all the parts down to the axe and shovel. Including new military soft top and metal frame. 4 cylinder engine, military tires, and power steering (yes power steering). It is a strong running Jeep, drive anywhere.”
I notice that in the first picture the steering wheel and column appears different than in in the other pictures. I think this may account for the power steering mentioned in the ad.
Good eye. I hadn’t noticed that. A closer look at the top pic seems to reveal a saginaw box along the driver’s side fender. The steering wheel is most definitely after market it that photo.
this looks like my old buddy Lous ford army jeep ? — Louis lived in the sierra nevadas — Vietnam vet — everybody in the area had jeeps because of me — Lou had a 1960 willys truck and towed the green ford ww2 jeep behind it — a sight to see — then I lost track of Lou over the years — then came computers and I did a search — old sweet lou had bought the farm — agent orange had given him some kinda disease — myasthenia gravis — and that’s what laid him down … semper fi to marine cpl lou
