Looks to be an ex-brush fire jeep.

“1953 willys m38 a1 military jeep, jeep is in good condition, runs drives and stops, just has been driven on property. Would need more work to be street legal. Jeep is located in greenbrier county wv, price is firm.”
Does a split windshield on the ‘A1, Cj-5/6 indicate a safari or pop-out version??
No, all m38 a1 had a 2 piece fixed glass . this jeep has that orig. w/s . I see no hinges or latch for pop out w/s .
The trick to spotting the ventilating windshield is to look for side hinges on the inside of vertical areas of the windshield (similar to a 2A) and latches that secure the windshield in place along the bottom of the frame.
