(03/19/2018) This is probably a 1956 or ’57 as it has one of the early speedometers.

“It’s time for this neat old 2-wheel drive1950 willys jeep to go. It ran fine some time ago, but it has just been sitting around gathering dust for quite awhile. 2-WHEEL DRIVE. No rust. Check the pictures. Sold as-is. No title. Will furnish bill of sale. No rust. $3,900.”
It has floor shift and “U-Shackles” and the early flat headlight bezels and flat parking lights, but later tail lights and different seats, so ‘something’ has been ‘changed’ along the way. Looks solid. I can see coil springs added to the front axle and a steering dampener and a very strong front bumper too as if it has done some kind of ‘heavy work’ along the way as well. I can’t get a clean shot of the lugs, but that spare sure looks like it could be 5 log, or just shadows…???
I called the seller and he hasn’t had it very long, but he is 81 years old and can hardly get in and out of the Jeep. He looked for the serial number tag and found one under the hood that says CJ2A but nothing that would indicate it was a DJ3A. He will try to get the number off the frame which should show it as a DJ3A. Although, it does have 5 lug wheels, and with the U shackles,, the M38 windshield, I think what we have here is a combination of DJ3A, CJ2 A and M38 parts. Told him it was posted on eWillys site and that he may be getting some calls on it. His number is 316 4406798 in Wichita KS.
