Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1943 WWII Ford GPW Jeep. Great starter project. No engine, transmission or transfer case included. Original body tub, fenders, grill, hood and windshield. Frame was restored by previous owner several years ago. New front bumper and rear crossmember.”
Be interesting to know the serial number that is stamped on the top of the drivers side frame rail just rear of the shock mount as all GPW’s had out of the factory.
