Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $500.
Not a ton of value here, but at a minimum does have the VIN plate, the engine, hubs, and rims.
“Jeep for parts. I know nothing about this found it in the woods very old very rusty missing lots of parts looks like it does have engine but I’m sure doesn’t run. Transmission is missing. was told its a CJ-5 manufactured in late 1961”
That top looks awefully close to a DJ5 top that may have been cut off of a postal jeep.
Are those coil springs I see in the rear?
Looks to me like one of those old coil/shock combos to me.
