UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.
It’s got a rusty script body.
“Very early production jeep. 1942 script ford gpw. This is a 4 digit serial number jeep. Body is very rusty. No engine. Does have the original early transmission and transfer case. Data plates are intact. Frame seems decent. $2000 oboe.”
I can’t tell but if this is sitting on a Willy’s frame, somebody needs to grab this!
With real life camo.
I purchased this vehicle. It is GPW 7507 (Army (hood) Reg. # 2065370-S). It is built on a Ford-stamped, WO-style frame and was assembled by Ford at it’s Dallas, Texas assembly plant, and delivered to the U.S. Army on 3-23-42. While it did not come with it’s original motor, the frame & data-plate #s match, and I have since acquired another GPW motor from the same time period which will be used in place of the original. I will be doing a full, frame-off, museum-quality restoration of this vehicle, and expect it to take about 3 years to complete, and will post a thread on the G503 forums following the completion of this restoration project.
