Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a mostly original M38. Its a project needsless to say. I was told this jeep sat in a field for many years. It is a very restorable jeep floors are solid. The only rust is in the side panels. They do sell replacement side panels online.”
