UPDATE: **SOLD**
The half-top show below (which is in poor shape) has an Oneida Military Contract Data plate (here’s a second Oneida hardtop). Anyone familiar with that company vis-a-vis jeep tops? Most interesting, it has a manufacture date of 1951, which means it could very well have been original to the CJ-3A, meaning the 3A (not that there is much left of it) could have been a military 3A.
“3a parts for sale. Windshield frame $300.00 Original seats passenger and driver $200.00 ea. $350 for the pair. Tail gate $100 pretty rough but would make a great decoration. Grill $300.00. 2 cj3a tubs for sale as well $200.00 ea or $300.00 for the pair. Rare half cab. Looks to be in good condition. Needs new glass $1000.00. Also have misc cj2a parts available.”
Looks like the top is for a 3/4 ton M37 truck.
That could be the case.
Carl is right. 3/4 ton “weapons carrier” M37.
1k seems steep too IMO
