UPDATE: Still Available.
A few curious things about the body. I suspect this MB body is sitting on a CJ-3A or later frame and drivetrain. Note the boxes in the rear for the shocks have been removed and the front of the frame lacks gussets.

“1945 Jeep Willy’s runs and drive needs TLC”
This is a head-scratcher..
Frame guess? CJ-2A (Note engine mount on driver-side, also appears to have bottom mount radiator)
MB *and* CJ top-bow pockets
MB tool indents
CJ frame
No MB rear fender tool-boxes
No tail gate (appears to be a home made repair panel)
MB fuel tank
Missing front drive shaft
Quite a bit of repair work done to this if you look around. I’d pass on this one…
Looks like an early CJ2a body with tool indents mounted to a CJ3A frame with additional MB items added. Note cut out for a column shifter on body. Also non floating rear axle and cut out for rear license plate on frame.
Totally agree with everything Matt and Don replied on, good eye guys. Good looking parade jeep and probably reliable, but not a real MB. Buyer beware.
I looked at this a long time ago. It’s a Cj2a modded to look like mb. The rear panel is poorly patched and Bondo in. The glove box door is glued on dash. The front crossmember is patched about 5 times with bolts and scrap welded on the underside. The body is rough floors shit etc. Looks 10 times better in pics then in person. Only thing worth anything was the beachwood canvas that came with it.
Thanks for the information Dan.
