“1949 Willys Overland CJ3-A
Free and clear title- newly assigned state vin number, original vin tag was gone.
3 Stick Trannie/transfer – T-90 / Dana 18 as far as I can tell.

Early 90’s 305 SBC from a Camaro, according to the casting numbers, I was told, besides the cheap walmart battery, which is mounted in the rear, the engine starts and purrs great. I rewired the majority of the Jeep with Weatherpack connectors. Part of the reason I am getting rid of it is because, I am more of a blue oval fan, which would have been much more gentle on the firewall (distributor would have been in the CORRECT spot!) and if I did keep it, I would surely destroy my perfect driving record, well at least for the last decade. This Jeep has a s@#$load of power and should not be taken likely!!!

All new brake pads and rebuilt slave cylinders, new oem style gauge cluster, new speedo- IT HAS LESS THAN 20 MILES! WHAT A DEAL! Haha, unknown actual miles. Could use some bigger tires, considering the power it has and it tops out around 55-60 with the motor wound up pretty tight. New under seat fuel tank, filters and lines. Transfer case was drained and refilled, new output seal installed, park brake drum was serviced at the time, just needs cable and handle. All boxes topped off.
I separated the trans from the motor and installed a new throw out bearing last fall, also to see if whoever did the swap used a good adapter kit, besides the trashed throw out bearing everything looked good.

Replaced rear tail/brake lights with led, added led turns in the front, micro led backup lamps, new turn signal switch (universal style) mounted on steering column.

New glass and rubber in windshield, new visors, and rear view mirror.

Previous owner removed the original seats, actually just cut the backs off and welded another set to the bases, with a little material and bending someone might be able to rebuild the backs and put a more original seat back in it. There is no rear seat.
Small box of extra parts also…

The whole body is original steel, except for the aftermarket fiberglass hood, it had some rust/bare spots when I got it, so instead of letting the rust get worse, I did a quick scuff and spray on it to protect it more, it is by no means a professional paint job, and definitely not the best I have ever done! Punisher sticker on the hood just seemed fitting for that little brute… Doesn’t look bad from a distance, or in pictures, but would have to see the true condition up close.

As I said earlier it has a newly assigned state vin, and a brand new title ready to go, It is titled and vin tagged as a CJ-3A 1949, I also have a Willys overland reprod vin tag to cover the ugly state assigned tag, that was the best I could identify it due to the windshield and the radiator mount mostly. I had this jeep advertised a year ago, without a title or vin number, and stated that I would ask more if I went through the whole 370+ days process with the state for a new vin, well at least that’s done and over with.

I am asking 5200.00 OBO for the Jeep, but I will consider partial trade for bike for my daughter, preferably around a 250 size 4 stroke, other than that not really looking for anything else. Not wanting super bad to get rid of it, but I would like to do another one with a small block Ford instead.

Last summer when I had this jeep parked out front, several people wanted and would have bought it if there had been a title for it, well besides a notary, this is a brand new title ready to go.”
