“here i have a pair of jeepsters in need of some love but plenty to work with. these are very limited production jeeps coming after the willys jeeps, but before amc took them over these are prior to the cj5, the cj7 and are very very rare the yellow one is the 1970 and the blue is the 1967
the first is a 1967 jeepster revival series convertible with the roadster package and a rare automatic transmission. it does not run but has tons of potential $5800 . I have a spare dauntless v6 motor to go with the jeep the motor was fine in this one is has been sitting for about 5 years.
the second of the two is a 1970 jeepster commando recent convertible top has the dauntless v6 that does run and a manual transmission this also comes with a plow setup $ 4700
both of these jeepsters are the kaiser built models not the later amc models the 1970 is actually the last year they were still built by kaiser
neither of these are able to be driven home but both have the potential to be brought back to their former glory for any jeep enthusiast looking to add one to their collection. i do also have an original owners manual and also an original ad from 1966 advertising the release of the jeepster, i also have an extra motor that is complete. these are so much cooler than just your run of the mill wrangler would love to get rid of everything as a package but i am willing to seperate i am open to trades for muscle cars, trucks, other jeeps etc. no junk please $10,000 for everything. I also have a car dolly that can sell for 350.00 if you need away to get the jeepsters home”
With the current asking prices for Jeepster convertibles from the 1960’s, and one of them is the genuine original, more expensive model, to me this looks like a very good deal. I wish I had more garage room.
It’s a bit of a head scratcher to me. I am surprised they aren’t already sold.
Now this is a puzzle-er, With out any doubt in my mind, THIS IS A VERY GOOD DEAL, why haven’t they sold. The market today is so FICKLE. When I bought my 1967 Jeepster Commando brand new in February of 1968, there was a 1967 red & white Jeepster convertible with the Continental kit on the rear selling for $3600.00, that was the sale price. That’s the one I wanted, but couldn’t afford it. Today I could afford it, wouldn’t blink an eye about spending the money. My dilemma today is not enough garage space. Take me for my word, GOOD DEAL JUMP ON IT. Most of you know me for posting the price is too high, well here’s the other side of the so-called coin.
Is the 67 still available?
