“I have a 1942 Willys MB army jeep for sale. I just did a complete rebuild of the jeep New brakes New paint New seat covers and everything mechanically has been gone over.It has a 350 Chevy engine with a 4 speed trans.LOTS of power!!4 inch lift and 33″ tires. Runs great and everything works. Rifle and holder not included neither are the tools and jerry can.Asking $6500.00 or BO Call or text with any questions”
I know I should be open-minded about these things, but the tires on this look so wrong, it’s a little sickening. Also, the contrast between the M1 and shifter just leaves me confused.
The tires are dry-rotted too.
Nice jeep looks like a nice job and really fair price
Looks nice and a good price too
They say “to each their own…”, but I would’t have done that to a MB.
If that is the original rear end it probably won’t hold up very long.
Drivers should SLOWLY let out the clutch and carefully push down on the gas pedal.
Makes me want to buy it just to rescue the poor thing. So close to being a nice MB, but those tires! And the engine, but that’s just me.
FYI, this sold almost immediately. For what it’s worth, I would have loved to have purchased it. While I appreciate the stock Willys, I tend to drive my Jeeps on a daily basis and so the mods can be quite welcomed (even if they wander far from stock).
Thanks for the update. There are most definitely places for both stock and modified jeeps. I too appreciate them both.
