Supposedly, this was used in the M*A*S*H* TV series. I guess it’s possible. Interesting that the driver side indents are missing. Looks like it has a GPW crossmember.

Last year this jeep was offered to me for $3000 and I had to wait for title due to the fact that the people selling were the cleanup crew that cleans up property for the government that is being repossessed. The son of the man that owned this jeep, that it was taken from, was at that time trying in court to get the jeep back for his dad. The jeep was never in the MASH tv series, it was just written on the hood by the old man that was restoring it. As you can see by the oversized bumper, the wrong windshield and other items, the jeep is not historically correct for the show. Not trying to wreck a sale, but thought that people should know the truth about this jeep. Was kind of hoping that the old man that this jeep was taken from would have gotten it back. The jeep meant a lot to him, as did the show MASH.
Thanks for that info Dwane. When folks ask me, I always tell them to get documentation if claims (like being in a TV show) are made.
