UPDATE: Price dropped to $7900.
(06/21/2017) This jeep apparently has some history.
“1955 M38 A1 Jeep used at Camp Pendleton Marine Base as an Officer transport. All original, no rust, in very good condition, new tires, original dash plaques, seats redone in camo, has back seats that can easily be removed, runs great, great collector Jeep with history.”

Vail Arizona not Colorado. City right outside Tucson.
Yep, my fingers went into auto pilot on that one …Thanks!
Vail AZ is where I bought my ’42 GPW you’d published on eWillys:

Would you trade for a 2004 f150?
Marine Core jeeps should have yellow stenciling, no USA, and NO STARS. If you advertise it – represent it!
The grille doesn’t look hinged…(as it should be?). Turn signal lights on grill look to have been changed.
Rixk,
Only the 1952 and some of the 1953 (not sure the exact number) had the hinges. Hinges shouldn’t be present on M-38A1s from 1954 onward. The blacklights have been swapped out for parking lights/turn signals. I’d be they former could be swapped back in pretty easily if desired.
In early M-38A1s, another early feature to look for is the way the fenders are cut. In the pic at the top the driver side fender has a joint that runs from the middle of the fender to the top of it. Early ones have a joint that start about the same place, but run back to the top back corner like this: http://willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules/gallery/albums/album87/Early_fender_lg.jpg
