Looks like a good price. There was an overdrive attached, but that has been removed.

“I have a T-98 4 speed Trans and D-18 transfer case from an old Willys Jeep.
IT shifts fine and spins freely, I do not know that service history.

NOTE: The OD does not come with it and is no longer attached, therefore the spur gear, washer, cover and nut are not there.”

THOSE ORIGINAL ADAPTERS ARE HARD TO FIND — I PUT TOGETHER A T-98 FOR MY 67 CJ-6 V-6 — FOUND ALL THE ORIGINAL CAST IRON ADAPTERS IN A WRECKING YARD — REBUILT THE T-98 COMPLETLEY — STILL MISSING THE ORIGINAL TRANSMISSION FLOOR PLATES — I KNOW THAT THE 67 CJ-6 V-6 DIDNT HAVE A 4SP OPTION , BUT THE LATE 60’S CJ-5 V-6 DID HAVE A T-18 OPTION , SAME TRANNY AS T-98 , EXCEPT FOR SOME INTERNAL PARTS — ANYBODY HAVE THOSE LATE 60’S 4SPEED CJ V-6 FLOOR PLATES ???

Good question. I do not know the answer. However, according to this link (http://www.ifsja.org/forums/vb/showthread.php?t=140021 ) “Manual transmissions are fairly easy to adapt, as long as the transmission going in has an input shaft stick-out that is longer than the 230 bell is deep. However, the 226 (from Utility Wagons) and 230 both have same pattern, and I expect they both use the T-90J transmission that has a long stick-out. So, the bell is likely to be quite deep.”
