“Selling my 1973 Jeep CJ-6.
This Jeep has been over most of the trails in Northern California like Rubicon and Fordyce and did them with ease, but it’s been sitting for the past few years now.
A Chevy 350 was swapped in (There is no SMOG checks for a 1973) along with an automatic transmission.
AFI Fuel injection was added so it does not stall out off road and actually starts in the winter.
Brand new (well, a few months old) 35″ BFG tires and Procomp wheels. This Jeep use to run 38” tires but I went smaller.
Front Axle- 1977 Ford Dana 44 High Pinion front axle swapped in with 4:56 gears and a Detroit EZ locker with a 3 link setup on TJ coil springs.
Chevy 1 ton steering and tie rods with Parts mike High steer kit.
Rear Axle – 1977 Ford 9 inch with 4:56 gears and a Detroit locker, leaf springs.
T-Case – It has a Bronco dana 20T transfer case.
Full Custom Roll cage, professionally welded.
New (ish) PRP seat and 5 point belts.
Meyer snow cab steel top (Hard to find!) and doors.
Hanson like Rock sliders.
The bad, it has handling quirks on the street because of a lack of front sway bar. If i kept this longer I would swap leafs back up front, or add a swaybar.
Come get it now before I wash it and increase the price!
Located in San Mateo.
Not looking for trades, I am buying a JK.”
