“This is a very complete farm Jeep with all the cool stuff still on it. It has a full PTO with a perfect pto shield, novi governor with complete handle and linkage, original head lights, and front weight. Jeep was running several years ago when parked but it hasn’t been started it since. The engine and all gear boxes turn freely and shift fine.

Body tub is obviously shot due to rust but the cowl, dash, and firewall are uncut and perfect. The fenders are very ruff and will require a lot of work to fix. The hood looks worse than it is as the dent will come out without a lot of trouble. The windshield is very solid and straight with only a few extra holes from the license plate and rear view mirror. The grill is absolutely perfect as is the frame which is solid and straight front to rear. This jeep even has the original ignition key and the switch turns freely.

The bad is the title was lost over the years and was never transferred into my name so the buyer will have to get another title for it. The license plate on the windshield was registered to the original owner so that may help in obtaining a title.

Once again, this is a very original and complete jeep, so the restorer will not have to track down a bunch of missing parts. All it basically needs a body tub, fenders, mild rebuild of mechanical systems, and paint.

For those of you that like vehicle history, this jeep was the second jeep sold at the Willys dealership in Evansville, WI in 1950 and was used to drive a hay bind on a farm in Evansville. We purchased it from the original owner’s estate auction some 20 years ago from George Auction Service.”
