This jeep-engine-powered screw-tractor called the Wormobile was spotted by Aaron. There’s a third photo of this here.

OK, I finally found this 30 year earlier version, not Jeep powered but fun to watch. Made from a Fordson Tractor, but also shows a mid 20’s Chevy Touring. Wonder why this idea didn’t fly?

I have absolutely no need or use for this. Why do I want it so bad? Could it be a rare symptom of “Willys Disease”?
Lew: I couldn’t agree more!
Glenn: Thanks for the link.
Now that really spikes the ole “cool meter”!! Yum!
I’ve seen them based on a Ferguson T20 farm tractor. The downside was extreme fuel inefficiency- on Artic travels they couldn’t carry enough gasoline.
