“1951 Willies Jeep motor is not good, but, has Buick v6, 3 speed manual trans with overdrive which was working when I parked it..This is a project Jeep and will need new interior and paint. Body is straight and not rusted.I have had this Jeep for 39 years but no longer have paper work on it.”

Almost looks like the tub was galvanized and the paint wouldn’t stick. Maybe just the sheet metal used to make the rear panel was, idk!?!? But does it have a V6 bolted in and running? Not very clear.
Duh, fiberglass tub right?
Seller claims the tub isn’t rusted, which would suggest it was metal?
Not sure what to make of this. Maybe a repop tub, not M38 for sure.
It’s got the M-38 hinge setup on the grille, which is why I thought it may have been an M-38 at some point. The body looks repro to me, too.
