Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. No problem Cathy,
The short answer is that I aggregate ads from Craigslist, eBay, Facebook, and from readers into daily updates. I do this as a public service and I do it as a giant research project. Because I am not in direct contact with sellers in many cases, I don’t know when ads expire/are deleted/vehicles sold. Even when they do expire or are sold, I keep them around to create a database for learning about vintage jeeps. I try to update the older ads when I can, but with 45,000 posts, it takes time.
