Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Has post war engine. Too much incorrect for that price.
The front frame looks tweaked upwards on the passenger side.
Agree with others, not a restoration worthy of that amount. No fuel filter, missing military charging system (look at regulator), wrong horn, no side exhaust…check out those incorrect brass w/s catches too….would only be on earlier ’41-’42 jeeps. No inner fender supports for the correct regulator. A decent useable ‘motorpool’ build, but not at that price!
IMOH what a ridiculous price! Dream on.
I thought Frank & Jesse were dead. This dealer is out of his mind on the price. Note the preceding comments. Does the word ” shyster ” come to mind, but as P.T. Barnum said, there is a sucker born every minute. I did make an offer on this unit a few weeks ago and pointed out some of the justification for my offer. I received a reply that said ” We received your offer and thanks for “talking it down” but the jeep is sold. So we are dealing with a smart ass dealer. The unit is obviously still available and will be for some time at that asking price. You have to wonder if they ever research prices on line?
Carl,
I suspect they look at a few high prices online and conclude their jeep is just as good, so they price it equally high. I figure it’s their jeep to price wildly high and, thus, theirs to keep until their pricing drops to a reasonable amount.
I sure would like to know what the dealer is smoking as he surly has no clue as to what’s it worth!
