It looks like that one sold quickly. It’s the first I’ve seen on a jeep for sale in years. I’ve updated the post. Those early half cabs are really hard to find, so I’m not surprised it went quickly.

Yes guys I bought it because of the top… Sorry but had to put this one in the collection. It is a numbers matching Jeep, all original, a true survivor. It sits next to my all original 41 slat grill. Two very hard jeeps to find.

Your newest addition to your collection is the one & only addition I need to make my dream a reality . Like air is to breathing: your new toy is to my 1 & only materialistic, earthly need to be able to die without unfinished business. I know that sounds really chickish & dramatic but accurate it is. Laurel Worman was my Great Grandfather. I had a genuine appreciation & love for Classic cars & Harley Davidsons at a very early age. It’s in my DNA. lol. My Dad was not given any sons & he wasn’t biased stereotypically toward his girls- he taught us more than a make & model- he taught & preached mechanics to us because he said he wanted his girls to depend on no man for anything & this was his contribution to seeing that through. (Even car shopping/dealing haha)
Aside from truly liking the Jeep, restoring “The One” someday with my 20yr old daughter who loves cars like her Mama. And years of looking for “that one”, I am yet to find it until I saw your new baby. The nostalgia & personal family right of passage to own one of these is so real.
So, you Sir should remember from time to time how fortunate you are to own this rare Gem that will one day be available only by pictures in books & One of the greatest Pioneers of our Automobile History that introduced recreational driving to us for fun. 🙂 Living in Alaska my odds of finding one anywhere in the state are 1 in a million odds. Lol. So, with that being said – if you ever decide that your collection is getting a bit crowded, would you please keep my information so that I can maybe have 1st opportunity to purchase it from you in the event of. I’d greatly appreciate it. Congrats & I’ll be watching to see if you share the improvements you may make to it ! ( Some pink paint is a great 1st step !!! 🙂

I would have to agree that this is a rare find. But given I have an even more harder to find Jeep, I would be willing to let this one go. That being said, I would only let this one go do to the fact that I have not become attached to it yet, I’m sure that will change in time.
