A March 1966 article from Wheels Magazine reviewed the 1966 CJ-6 for Australian readers. This is being sold out of Britain. Their are four pages, but only two were scanned.
“Original Australian market black & white sales brochure being a factory issued reprint of a road test from Wheels magazine illustrating & describing the Willys Jeep CJ-6 Station Wagon.
No publication number.
Dated March 1960 and covers 1960 models.
4 page folder, well illustrated, English text.
20x28cm approx.
Very good condition, date stamp to rear cover.”
That spare tire mount on the inside behind the driver is very similar to that of the 2wd Traveller (the 4×4 Traveller had the spare on the roof).\
Cool article. Thanks for posting.
Very cool! I was thinking the same thing about the tire mount. Im not sure if it is the photography or what, but I have never seen a top fit that snug, or did I miss the fact that it is permanent? Either way, looking at original photos of these old Willys just makes me wish I could go back in time and buy them ALL and put them away. Have a driver for each day of the week!
Thanks for sharing…
