This is an interesting CJ-3B body. Either it is some strange aftermarket body or it’s an MB body that’s been modified with a higher cowl to mimic a CJ-3B body.
“1953 Willys CJ3B tub, fenders, hood, and grille. Sitting on later model CJ frame and running gear. Both have been narrowed to fit the tub width. Have Washington state title. $550 obo.”

I recently saw another Jeep for sale with the same CJ-3B cowl apparently mated to a GPW/MB tub…I think an older repro 3B body could possibly have tool indents but it’s unlikely it would have an axe holder.
What about the desert dog?!
They appear good enough for racing. They may be at 50% tread?
“Lost Biscuit”? Going incognito? Or has progress on your original baby resumed :-)?
I concur this looks MB (round toolbox lock insets and MB rear bench seat rests).
I wasn’t logged into the site when I wrote that, so I just plugged in that name.
Progress is expected to resume at some point, but I haven’t had any time to get back to Seattle yet and do work on it (we did get over there to do work on my sister’s roof — that took priority).
