“I bought this Jeep in Vegas about 6 months ago and drove it all the way back up to Park City going 65mph up I-15 (She has the original AMC 232 cu in, straight 6 engine) I used this Jeep a few days a week on a postal route in Midway until I recently quit. No longer need it.

Runs great, drives great. Daily driver. No issues. Everything works except the windshield wipers and horn. Also does not have a heater and is not 4 wheel drive. (I have a bin with old parts and an old heater that I will include with the sale)

Both doors slide back well and are secure both open and closed. Both sunroofs function great. The front driver’s side small window is missing, besides that all other glass is good. Breaks are good. Seat belt is good. Mirrors are good. I added a wide view on the left side mirror, very easy to see. All 5 tires are good.

Very minimal rust on the edges.

Paint is 8/10
Interior 9/10

Has a custom seat that I fabricated to fit my 6’0″ 190lb self, will easily slide forward.

“U.S. Mail” magnet decals will also be included in the sale. (USPS license plate will not)

After I drove it 400 miles from Vegas I got a full service tune up, new everything. ($1500) She’s good to go!

Give me a call or text to come check her out or if you have any questions.

Asking $6500 obo”

    Xavier…
If you have questions about a vehicle here, do these steps.
1.The Craigslist ad is 7 years old. Check the date at the top of the posting.
    2. Click on the highlighted blue link. That way you’ll see the actual ad.
3.Remember, this site simply reposts ads so more Jeep fans will see them.
The (would be) seller would NOT see your comment.

Xavier: The Capt is correct, this one has sold. I’ve updated the post. I used to do more searches for postal jeeps, but since I’ve cut my updates down to every-few-days, I haven’t had time to search for them. If I were you and looking for a post jeep, I’d use Facebook Marketplace and try the search terms “DJ-5”, “Postal Jeep” and “Mail jeep”.

Best of luck in with your search!
