But I’m confused by the phrase “’57 original color” on this 1943 jeep!
You are not alone in your confusion. If you look at the paint color options for 1957, there were none offered that were even close to this: https://www.kaiserwillys.com/willys_overland_paint_colors (scroll down).
Hmmmm… maybe Ford offered that color in ’57.
Looks like a 56 crown vic color. May have also been available in 57.
Looks to me like a 57 Chevy Bel Air color.
He never said it was a Jeep original color. LOL
