The tool box under the passenger side extends out quit a ways.
“1947 willys jeep cj2a must go To much for me can’t get it done at this point in my life clean title in hand good body it’s all there hasn’t been started in years it wouldn’t take much to get it going we connect the clutch new battery fresh gas fresh oil new plugs and I’m sure it would fire right up has a hurricane straight six the engine and trans are in great shape motor turns no problem I have antique license plates for it must sell if interested let me know has 65,000 original miles”
That toolbox is VERY odd…looks like a decent price though.
I think that the tool box cover may just be laying on the floorboard, may have to do with bucket seat installation.
I think the tool box lid is off and sitting forward of were it should be, look at how the passenger seat is sitting

Looks like the front cross member has been replaced. Maybe to accommodate the six cylinder.
Possible PTO?
