UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5800.
(05/10/2017) Runs and drives. Appears solid.
“1947 Willy’s Jeep CJ2A. We are the third owners. It runs and drives great. It looks pretty good too. It has a Jeep V6 and a rare overdrive setup. The seats have great upholstery and the body is pretty straight. It does have it’s needs, but motor and drive train are good. Brand new tires last year. Its a cool little ride, especially around hot august nights.”
I didn’t realize that my jeep was going to make it on this web site. Thank you!
This Willys is solid. The body doesn’t show to have any rust, with the exception of the back of the windshield, where the original owner had a rifle box built in and it didn’t get repainted back in the 70s. There are assorted funky things that need to be addressed, depending how particular you are, but I get in it and drive it 3-5 times weekly. The motor is fresh and runs very well. Will pull overdrive everywhere I’ve tried it. My main reason for selling is my wife is not comfortable driving it… no power brakes or steering…she’s just too little to muscle it.
Hi Tony,
I hope it helps out. If I can do anything else for you, feel free to email me at d@ewillys.com
Thanks,
