UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $9900.
If the tag is correct, this is a former Los Alamos Jeep.
“All stock and fully restored “High Hood” Willys with 134 cu in (2.2 L) Hurricane I4 motor. Runs perfect and very reliable. Jeep was purchased from Los Alamos National Laboratory motor pool in New Mexico. No rust! Recently installed new parts include tires, shocks, leaf springs, knuckle bearings, front break drums, wheel bearings, battery, and fuel pump.
Title is clean plus plates and tags on it. Great jeep for cruising through town, country roads, or off-road fun.
Hate to sell, but need space in garage.”
After the Manhattan Project, but still, think of what happened at Los Alamos during the tenure of this jeep. This could have a very cool history.
Wow, that is a cool 3B. I may have to go check it out. It looks like there are no turn signals wired in, it may have the original tail light.
I should have mentioned … You might want to approach it with a geiger counter! There are plenty of them here in the Tri-Cities due to Hanford.
That’s one NICE CJ3B. That Los Alamos tag really caught my eye.
LOL about needing a geiger counter, Dave :-D!
Does anyone know if this Jeep sold. Somehow, I missed the post from earlier in the year. (June) Of course it is no longer listed on Craigslist, nor was the add updated. This is very close to what I cam looking at buying. A Willys with a story, or unique history.
If anyone knows of another that may exist, that fits that bill, I would be more than appreciative of the information.

Hi Larry,
I have not seen this relisted recently on Craigslist. I did a search and found it was also listed for sale here: https://www.classic4x4market.com/Listing/Details/369690/1965-Ford-Econoline-4×4-Lifted-Passenger-Van-Oregon , but there’s no indication that it has sold. My guess is that it is still available, but the seller needs to relist it. If I see it back on Craigslist I will let you know.

Is it still available
Charlie,
I haven’t seen this one relisted on Craigslist recently. I’ve updated the post. If I see it again I will send you an email.
