This photo features 2 Bantam BRC-40s. I’m wondering if the date of publishing was later than the photography date, given the Bantams.

I wonder if those are actually ford models. The only jeeps I’ve ever seen with 11 slot grill was the ford pygmy pilots.

Nope, those are not Ford GPs. The GPs had the headlights behind the slat grilles. The Bantams had the lights inset into the fenders like you see above. You can tell these are the Bantam BRC 40s because the grilles are flat. The BRC 60s, which came before the 40s, had a curve slat grille like their predecessor, the first jeep, the Bantam BRC.
