UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000
Craig shared this one. Between the plow and the half cab alone there is value. It has an f-head swap. It runs, too.
“Up for sale, a friend has a 50’s something Willys Jeep. Either one of us know what year it is exactly. He last used it 2 years ago, to plow his driveway and it has sat since as it needs brake work so it can stop, he never got to it. He wanted me to try and unload it for him. Easier for him to just have me do his snow removal. Anyway, it runs and drives, just doesn’t stop, plow works, tires hold air, 4-wheel drive works, I think the cab heater works, and maybe the wipers too. He ended up with this Jeep when he bought his house and it was the sole vehicle for snow removal at his place, but it needs some work that he’ll never get a chance to do and it needs a new home now.
I’m pretty sure he has no paper work at all for it and neither did the last owner he got it from. Have no idea if it was ever registered and on the road in its lifetime, but my guess would be no. Floors are decent in it, and from what I can tell it’s still got plenty of life left after some TLC it would be a great little work horse around cabin, farm, or house and snow removal. I think it’s been patched up here and there and some obvious stuff not original to it by the pictures and would have to be picked up by rollback or car hauler to move from location, with it not being able to stop. Thanks for looking, any interest, text or call me.”
I like that cab. Haven’t seen one quite like that. Rear corners have been rebuilt. If a guy needed a plow jeep seems pretty fair.
is the jeep still for sale
John, it appears this one sold quickly. I’ve updated the post.
Dave, It’s a Beck or Kemco: http://www.cj3b.info/Hardtops/Beck.html
I’ve just found another listing for this jeep. So, it still might be available:
