$37k (CDN) to build? To build a Willy’s for that kind of money (especially a CJ), you’d expect a nut and bolt restoration, think there’d be all sorts of NOS parts and full canvas.. The $13.5k +/- (US) asking price is still a tad high for me.. but that’s just my $.02 ($ .02655 CDN)
I thought this was for sale last year. Maybe someone is trying to mak some money on a flip. It is not cheap to redo a willys in Canada. The guy I got my willys wagon gave me receipts worth over $20,000 and he did all the work including the body and paint. That did not cover the cost of the jeep which they are hard to find here. My 47 cj was in good shape and has $14,000 in receipts to get it to look good. So this is not a bad asking price to get a almost finished jeep.
Ed, that’s a good reminder. Here in the US we can easily forget those issues.
