We’d greatly appreciate contacting the current owner. Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival needs a stock Postal Jeep for our history exhibit “Jeeps of the 70’s”. Thank you, Friends of Bantam Jeep.
Hi Bill,
I haven’t seen this for sale in a while. It likely sold. I’ve updated the post. Unfortunately, I don’t have any contact info for the seller. I only had the now-dead craigslist link.
The Harrisburg, PA, post office has a postal jeep on display. Maybe they will loan it?? http://www.ewillys.com/2016/12/11/dj-5-on-display-at-the-harrisburg-pennsylvania-post-office/
You might check with the manager of this website. Maybe he knows of some postal jeeps near Butler: http://www.postaljeep.net
Thanks Dave,
This is our best lead so far.
Finding a nicely restored DJ-5 in USPS trim in our area (the rust belt) is proving to be nearly impossible.
Thanks again,
Bill
