UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2200.
There’s some value, but hard to tell how much.
“I have 3 CJ2A Willys jeeps for sale. They are in varying states of condition. None run, all have engines and trannys. 2 have original engines and 1 has a ford engine. I have many parts for these even some steel patch panels for the floors. Projects that never finished and cant now. They all roll although there are a few flat tires. If I parted these out I could get more than what I am asking for them.
They are located on my ranch west of Trinidad Colo.
I do not have titles for any of these.
Asking $2200 for all three and would like to not separate.”
Looks like two of them are around 46 CJ2-A’s
The green one looks solid. The hard top on one looks solid minus the glass. The red over white/yellowish appears to have have two pto’s underneath and a lot of good sheet metal. The Ford motor and bell housing/adapter have good value. But what puzzles me the most is that the green one has two gas filler indentations (I have limited knowledge of CJ’s I’m a truck and wagon person). Could this be a newer repo body or just downright good sheet metal work? Looks solid. Looks like there is a good chance of building one solid CJ. And maybe strip down bodies and primer them then the same with the good sheet metal/windshields and other mechanical parts.
Are these still available?
Mike Dave on the Alaska Or Rust trip right now so he will have limited contacts to his sites followers. These CJ’s were on Craigslist but the add has expired. The majority of ads on here are taken from Craigslist and posted here and they are mostly about Willys vehicles. I’m sure if they come back up for sale they’ll be listed here. Hope this helps.
Mike: I expect these sold. I haven’t seen these relisted recently. I’ve updated the post. If I do see them again I will send you an email.
Barry: Thanks!
No problem. Enjoyed the updates too. Hilarious.
