Glenn spotted this one. I think having one of these chev trucks as a flatbed for a jeep would be cool.

Too bad so far away. Those c.o.e. trucks are very cool right now and fairly rare. If it’s at all in decent shape, that’s a heck of a deal…

I wish I was 25 years younger and 2500 miles closer. What a neat rig to start with, transplant the cab onto a late model Chevy or GMC chassis with updated LS engine( or even a diesel), Allison automatic, extend the cab to accommodate a couple more folks and have the comforts of home inside. Haul your Jeep, Jeepster or wagon on the back!

Well boys, it’s just down the road a bit from me near LL Bean, and except for 2 feet of snow and 50MPH winds today, I’d go capture it for you. Bring a battery, a little gas, and some luck to drive it home. Up here in Maine this day has us hibernating with no Direct TV satellite coverage. I spent the day watching Broderick Crawford roar around California in ’57 Buicks, ’57 Mercurys, and ”57 Dodges in season 3, “Highway Patrol” DVDs. If you haven’t bought these, there’s no excuse. I’ve had them for a year and didn’t open the package. The cars, scenes, and camera action is without comparison for 50’s TV. Nothing like a Nor’ Easter and going back to 50’s TV. Boy!!! Have I had a great day.
