Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

My husband built this originally, can you tell me who it was sold to?
Hi Tiffany,
Unfortunately, I do not have no information about the current owner.
– Dave
You have no idea who bought it from you? I’d really like to buy it back. Hoping maybe you had a name or number of you may have sold it to.
Thanks for your time Dave. I really appreciate it. My number is (909)561-6059! If you happen to find any info.
Tiffany,
Sorry for any confusion. I only list jeeps for sale. I never owned this nor did I communicate with the owner. It was an ad on Craigslist.

I saw the 1962 jeep cj6 I am the person that built this jeep. I built the frame 2×8″ steel hi strength steel and built all suspension and cut both axles. I built the fuel tank and dash. I took the V8 motor out and installed a V10 viper
This jeep was definently a one of a kind. I have never had it stuck and it has been all over the western US and Mexico
This jeep took me over 2 years to build with working on it at least 3 days a week bringing my time to over 2500 hours
Now that I am 74 years old I am looking to buy it back
Hi Bob,
Thanks for the note and update. I haven’t seen this relisted since 2017. If I do see it, I will send you an email. Best of luck on your hunt for it.
– Dave
Dave,
Who did you list it for?? Maybe they can help track it by the VIN??
Tiffany,
Based on the pics, it looks like an ad that came from Craigslist or Facebook, so I didn’t directly list it. If I had the VIN info, it would be on the post.
Thanks,
– Dave
