Picture 5 of 6 in the CL listing.. appears to be D18 with an Ebrake drum… with “teeth”? I’m unfamiliar with this setup-
any help?
Mbullism, the geared brake drum was used on jeep-a-trench jeeps. There would have been a handle through frame on driver’s side to push or pull. That was hooked to a gear under pto that would engage or disengage against that geared drum for creeper drive when trenching. Hope that helps
Thanks, Chris, that does help… chipping away at my ignorance, lol. I’m generally aware of the Jeep-a-trench, but was completely unfamiliar with the mechanisms involved. Now I’m just largely unfamiliar, lol.
