    Hey Dave, looks just like my high hood that we took to eat at Joels when you came for a visit. Same year and colors. Very nice!

    Interesting that 7.4 is standard and 6.9 compression is optional. Would have thought it would be the other way around. Wonder what Idaho Todd has in his 3B. I have only seen one 7.4 and it came out of a wagon and is now in one of my 3Bs.

    Terry, I thought it would be the other way around too. I think the higher compression engine was for high altitudes. I’m not really sure what mine has, how do you tell?

    Facing the engine look on rear left side of valve cover there is small flat surface(same serface that the valve cover sits on) that has 69 or 74 stamped on it . Let me know what you find.
