That has an unusual towing setup in the rear.
“I’m selling my 51 Willy’s. I bought if about 6 months for a restoration project. However I now have no time to complete this project because of work and will most likely be moving in the coming future. Since I bought it I have got it running. The tires are in good shape. I changed the starter to a brand new high torque starter, new coil, and new high solid state distributor. The Jeep now runs and drives. I am a little flexible on price. I also have two front wheel and hubs for the jeep in the box. I also have tooling compressor, jack, and jack stands for additional price.”
The tub looks cj5ish
This would be an interesting jeep to see in person. Has a cj2a cowling mated to a cj5 tub. Frame has been modified too.
I’ve been surprised at the number of 2a/5 mated bodies that are out there.
That rear hitch setup may be unique but it will bang the trailer tongue anytime the jeep is turning. Would be fine if you always drove in a straight line…
That’s what I was thinking, too. I was puzzled by the strategy.
